I rarely speak about my religion. I follow it as God actually intended, not the corrupt bullshit that it has become, which can cause arguments that I am too exhausted to deal with. Another reason is not everyone believes in God or Jesus why would they want to hear about it? I feel this needed to…
Not entirely sure I agree. My interpretation is that homosexuality is still considered a sin in the Christian faith. However, thanks to the cross, that sin no longer results in an automatic ‘Go straight to hell. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200’ sentence as we may be forgiven for those sins.
Much more importantly, Jesus himself said that we should not judge and condemn someone because of the sin in their lives. Love the sinner, hate the sin and all that. Also the judge not Lest ye be judged. With an added ‘let ye who is without sin cast the first stone’.
So yes, Homosexuality is technically a sin. So is lusting after the hot member of te opposite sex. So is hating the homosexual person. So is ignoring the person suffering and in need of help. I dare anyone to show me someone in today’s world without sin. I’d even dare someone to show me a person who isn’t embracing some aspect of sin in their daily lives and considering it ‘normal’. So there is absolutely no reason why a persons sexual preference should in any way be treated differently than any other sin, including those we readily accept as being a perfectly normal condition of the human condition.
